Movie review- Tanu Weds Manu: (2.5/5) It's little Enjoyable....

In this wedding season, "Tanu weds Manu" director Anand Rai  tried to put all the commercial masala in the movie, yet it fails to deliver a full entertainment dose.

The film roam around a Kanpur based blod, bindass and Creepy girl Tanuja Tripathi alias Tanu(Kangana) and a London based NRI doctor Manu (Madhavan) who falls in love with Tanu, his parents have selected for him, the moment he first sees her.

But Tanu orders him to call off their engagement so she can run off with her boyfriend, who is a railway contractor(Jimmy Shergil).

The film targets all the most known commercialise north centers like UP, Delhi, Punjab to attract all the north audience.
Manu after ditched by Tanu, meets her again in a friends wedding at Punjab. It is where the story takes a turn and finally Tanu weds Manu.

Kangana disappoints with her acting skills and dialouge delivery in the movie. Madhavan's performance is ok. But the winning performance in this film comes from Pappi (Deepak Dobriyal of Omkara) who offers a hilarious, uninhibited turn as Manu's best friend. Jimmy looks impressive in the negetive shed.

Film's music is outstanding with some nice numbers that suits to Film's mood perfectly.

'Tanu Weds Manu' isn't all bad. The first half of the movie is enjoyable and hilarious though the second half bores you at some places and looses its grip. The scond half could have been much better.

I am going with 2.5 out of 5 to director Anand Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu'. Some of the moments are really fine in the movie. GO if you want to enjoy the wedding ride of Tanu and Manu this season.
