How many love stories turn up after the break up ?? Not certainly all... but Abhay and Aaliya is successfull here !!
Break Ke Baad starring Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone, is arguably more engaging than recent films of this genre - "Aisha", "Anjaana Anjaani" and "Jhootha Hi Sahi".
Abhay Gulati (Imran) and Aaliya (Deepika) are childhood friends and are in a relationship from a couple of years. Gulati is simple,comitted and matured, whereas Aaliya is rebelious and attention seeking. Aaliya represent the modern girl who want freedom and everything with her choice. Gulati represents the one woman man who is comitted to Aaliya till the death.
After certain circumtances Aaliya decides to break up with Abhay, though Abhay is still behind her as he thinks he will get her one day.
"Break Ke Baad" is essentially Aaliya's story, with Abhay playing a supporting part in it, and the film works best when she's at the forefront.
Deepika has delivered the best performance till date with a great confidence. Imran has made his dull character alive with his performance.
The first half of the film is enjoyable with a lots of fun between the two leads. However, the second half is lill less entertaining.
Vishal & Shekhar's music is not at all promising.
The best scene in the film is when both sitting at the terrace and Aaliya giving them name: Shahrukh for her and Sunita for Abhay.
Overall the film is so so but you will enjoy and wont feel bore watching with your girlfriend/boyfriend. I am going with 2.5 out of 5 for this movie. Go and watch with your partner to have some funny moments.

well the reviews is good but plesae include other details such as background score , screenplay and overall i would have taken your advice if I had any partner :)
