In a recent time alot of comedy movies came with the dose of over acting and far from reality. 'Phas gaye Obama' slaps all those crap movies with a completely fresh cinematic drama that gives you alot of enjoyment and entertainment while watching.
The movie starts with a local crime-pin Bhaisaab(played by the excellent Sanjay Mishra) who explains just how hard recession has hit the local kidnapping business. Their outgoing facility of mobile has also been stopped, no patrol for jeeps and cant affort to buy a bullet for guns.
Suddenly a NRI Om Shastri(Rajat kapoor) comes to India to sell his old haveli sothat he can save his bunglow and family from the cash crunch and recession. Then the whole plot goes around with the NRI where alot of kidneppers try their hand to catch him to get the good ransom.
The movie has alot of mood refreshing scenes that will make you laugh. The movie is cleverly written and with the extremely suitable star cast.
Constructed from a terrific script that’s strong on plot and packed with crackling dialogue, 'Phas Gaye Re Obama' is consistently engaging.
Each and every punches in the moive are geniune and funny. It’s one of those rare Hindi films I have seen in recent time that’s funny and smart at the same time.
All the actors have superbly performed their characters. Direction is nice with the strong script.
I am going with 3.5 out of 5 for this movie. Just "GO" and grab this humor this weekend!!
