Whenever the sequal comes, it always gets compared with its prior film. And in most of the cases we find the first edition much better than the later.
This weekends release "Raktacharitra-2", the sequal of "Raktacharitra" proves the same myth true.
This movie is packed with more blood and more noise than the earlier one. The most part this film seriously lacks any real sense of drama, and to make up for that, director Ramgopal Varma once again relies on those crazy camera angles(In some scenes the camera even moves to 360 degree angle) and his trademark booming background score.
The movie completely belogs to Surya and a good bollywood debute for him. Vivek Oberoi who made his presence felt in the previous film, lags here as there were not many things for him to do in this part.
RGV has ended the movie with an clue of another movie sequal for this. Music was not at all impressive.
I am going with 2 out of 5 for this sequal..Believe me you will be disappointed if you will compare it from the Raktacharitra-1. Since there are already more movies this weekend, I would say "No GO" for this.
This weekends release "Raktacharitra-2", the sequal of "Raktacharitra" proves the same myth true.
Raktacharitra-2 continues the story of Raktacharitra with a new character called 'Surya' played by a tamil star Surya. who plots revenge on Ravi(Vivek Oberoi) for the cold-blooded murder of his family.
The first 30 mins of the movie is just the recap of the Raktacharitra-1 which really sucks and irritates you if you have already seen that movie.
